Who are we looking for:
Now, for our client in Mongstad, we are looking for a seasonal chef. The perfect candidate should be conscientious, accurate in taking proper actions and collaborative.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with menu planning and ordering supplies
- Manage incoming deliveries and stock control
- Carry out cleaning routines in the kitchen
- Prepare food and deliver ready meals to other canteens on site
Requirements:
- Certified Cook with experience in canteen, restaurant, or large-scale catering
- B-type driving license (not mandatory, but desirable)
- Strong teamwork skills, self-motivated, and independently reliable
- Focus on quality, creativity, efficiency, and structured service
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Solid knowledge of IK-Mat food safety standards and HMS (health, environment & safety) practices
- Proficient in spoken and written Norwegian (Scandinavian language) and/or English
- Initiative-taking, flexible, and service-oriented
