Who are we looking for:
Our client Motor & Generator Service AS who is a leading player in the service and maintenance of engines and generators, is looking for an experienced and skilled Industrial Mechanic/Industrial Fitter to join their team.
If you have a passion for precision work and problem solving and dream of working permanently at a beautiful industrial park Herøya in the south of Norway then this job may be a great opportunity for you.
You will be joining a competent team, who aim to deliver services of the highest quality, so proficiency in either English or Norwegian is essential for effective communication.
Responsibilities in industrial mechanics:
- Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems in engines and generators.
- Assembling and disassembling machine parts and components. Conducting testing and test runs.
- Working in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications and experience as a mechanic:
- Trade certificate as an industrial mechanic and/or trade certificate as an industrial fitter or equivalent relevant education.
- Experience with maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and engines.
- Good understanding of technical drawings and documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good communication skills in English/Norwegian, both oral and written.
